Why We Archive

Pureed meats (gerber)

So I attempted to give my son the jarred meat. Started with chicken and gravy and he made the nastiest face I've ever seen him make. He gagged like he was trying to prevent from swallowing it and then spit it right out. I normally taste his food first but this time I didn't..I tried it after him and it was gross. I think I'm going to introduce meat when I can give him the real deal. How else is anyone's baby doing with meat? Right now we are still on pureed fruits and veggies. He has one tooth and when I attempted a yogurt melt he spit it out.  I want to start progressing when he's at least 8 months but I'm nervous too. Suggestions?
